Experience: Chip Hamilton, our professional fishing guide, has been fishing Lake Hartwell nearly all his life, and professionally guiding since 1994. He is positively one of the most experienced guides on the lake. He knows how to find the fish! References are available upon request.
We Provide: A roomy 22 ft. center console boat that will accommodate up to four clients. This boat will be equipped with state of the art electronics. We will also provide your party with a sufficient amount of bait and tackle for each member in your party.
You Need To Bring: A valid resident or non-resident South Carolina or Georgia fishing license (order your SC DNR fishing license by calling 1-888-434-7472). Be sure to dress in appropriate clothing for the current weather conditions. You will also be responsible for bringing your own food, drinks, and a cooler to carry your fish home with you.
Rates: $350 for 1 or 2 people and $400 for 3 or 4 people. Also note, children ages 12 and under are free with a paying adult.
Each trip typically consists of approximately 6 hours, when the limit of fish is caught, or when the sufficient amount of bait to catch the limit is used--whichever comes first.
The limit is 10 striper/hybrids per person, with an average size of hybrid bass being 3 to 9 pounds. The striped bass range from 5 to 25 pounds with bigger fish being caught occasionally. An average catch is 20 to 25 fish, with limits of 30 to 40 fish caught regularly.
Multi-boat trips of 3 or more guides are also available if you book well in advance. Day and Night trips are available.
